A merged ShopQuote holds two or more draft orders under one link. The customer sees each order in turn and can check out any of them. Use it when one customer has several separate orders, or when you want to offer options.
Merge from the list
Go to ShopQuotes and tick two or more quotes.
Click Merge in the action bar.
A new quote named #M followed by a number replaces the originals. It goes live with your default expiry and without a PIN, so protect it again if you need to. Merge is off if any selected quote is completed or is already merged.
Add orders on the quote page
Open a quote and use the Add quotes menu.
Create new: adds an empty order to fill in.
Import existing: adds draft orders from Shopify.
Remove quote: takes one order out again. Appears once there are two or more.
Each order gets its own tab above the details. The quote is renamed to #M when you save with more than one order, and back to the draft order's name when only one is left.
When the customer checks out
Only the order the customer paid for is completed. The paid order is removed from the merged quote, and the rest stay live under the same link. If one order remains, the quote turns back into a single ShopQuote with that order's name.
Note: The Merged view on the ShopQuotes page lists every merged quote. A merged quote's total is the sum of its orders.
