A PDF template builds the document a customer downloads from a quote. It uses a smaller set of widgets than the quote page, with a fixed bordered layout and no card or empty padding switch.
The widgets
Widgets marked once can be added one time per template.
Header (once) | Your Logo with a Logo width of 60 to 400 px, a Tagline, and Show creation date. With no logo, your store name is shown as text. |
Customer details (once) | Who the quote is for. Toggle name, email, phone, shipping address and billing address. |
Product list (once) | The quoted items as a table. Toggle Show compare at price and Show SKU. Needs the full page width, so it can't be placed in a half width column. |
Price breakdown (once) | Subtotal, discounts, shipping, taxes and total. Toggle Show discounts and Show shipping. |
QR code | A code the customer scans to check out from the printed document, with a Description under it. |
Checkout button (once) | A link to checkout. Set the Button label, and Show payment icons with the Text and providers to show under it. |
Support | A Heading, Description, Phone number and Email address. |
Attachments (once) | Files attached to the quote, as clickable links. Hide when empty removes the widget on quotes with no files. |
Notes (once) | The note written on the quote. The Description is rich text with variables, and starts with |
Expiration | The expiry date, with Show creation date beside it. Hidden when the quote has neither. |
Rich text | A Heading and formatted text, with variables. |
Footer (once) | One line of Text, such as a copyright notice. |
Variables
Rich text fields take the same variables as quote templates: {note}, {quote_number}, {expiry_date}, {total} and {customer_name}. Click + Add variables above the field to insert one.
File name
The name of the downloaded file is set in the Settings panel under File name. It accepts variables such as {quote_id}.
Note: The PDF template is chosen at download time. Click Download PDF on a quote and pick one under PDF template. Your default is preselected.
