Quote template widgets

Every widget you can add to a quote template, what it shows and its settings.

A quote template is built from widgets. Each one shows a part of the quote page, and its settings live in the Template panel of the editor.

The widgets

Widgets marked once can be added one time per template.

Announcement bar (once)

A strip of text across the top, with an optional link. Text Behaviour scrolls a long message or wraps it. Show social icons adds the links from Settings.

Header (once)

Your Logo with a Logo width of 60 to 400 px, a Tagline, and a Link heading with Link URL for a phone number or page. Header behaviour keeps it fixed at the top or sticky as the customer scrolls. With no logo, your store name is shown as text.

Expiration

A live Countdown or the Date & time the quote expires, with a Heading and Additional text. Hidden on quotes with no expiry.

Product list (once)

The quoted items. Toggle Show creation date, Show product image, Show compare at price and Show SKU.

Price breakdown (once)

Subtotal, discounts, shipping, taxes and total. Consolidate taxes folds the tax lines into one row the customer can expand.

Checkout button (once)

The button that takes the customer to checkout. Set the Button label, and Show payment icons with the Text and providers to show under it.

Notes (once)

The note written on the quote. The Body is rich text with variables, and starts with {note}.

Attachments (once)

Files attached to the quote, with a Heading and Description. Show download buttons adds a button per file. Hide when empty removes the widget on quotes with no files.

QR code

A code the customer scans to open the quote on their phone, in three sizes, with an optional checkout button under it.

Customer details (once)

Who the quote is for. Toggle email, phone, shipping address, billing address and quote request submissions.

Support

A Heading, Description, a button with its own URL, and a Phone number and Email address the customer can tap.

Testimonials

A row of testimonial cards, 1 to 4 per row, with a Footer note. Click Add card for each quote, with an image, star rating, text and customer name.

Videos

A row of video cards, 1 to 4 per row. Each card has a Video URL, Thumbnail, Heading and Description. YouTube links play in place.

Rich text

A Heading and formatted text, with variables.

Image

An image beside a Heading and text. Image position: Left, Right, Top or Bottom.

HTML snippet

Your own HTML, for anything the other widgets don't cover.

Footer (once)

A Logo, Tagline and social icons. ShopQuotes branding can be hidden on paid plans.

Card or empty

Most widgets have a Padding switch. Card wraps the widget in a box using the theme's background, outline and corner radius. Empty draws it directly on the page.

Variables

Rich text fields fill in details from each quote. Click + Add variables above the field to insert one, or type it.

{note}

The note on the quote.

{quote_number}

The quote number.

{expiry_date}

The date the quote expires.

{total}

The quote total.

{customer_name}

The customer's name.

A variable that isn't recognised is left as typed, so a typo shows up on the preview rather than disappearing.

Widgets that hide themselves

A widget with nothing to show stays off that quote. Expiration needs an expiry date. Checkout button and QR code need a checkout link. Notes needs a note. Customer details needs at least one detail. Attachments follows its Hide when empty setting.

Note: Hiding ShopQuotes branding in the Footer needs a paid plan. On a free plan the option is locked, and a save that tries it is refused with Hiding ShopQuotes branding requires a paid plan.
