Customize the widgets

Style the Request a Quote button, floating badge and popup in your theme editor.

Three widgets appear on your store: the Request a Quote button on product pages, the floating Quote badge, and the popup where customers add products and fill in the form. All three are styled in the Shopify theme editor.

Open the settings

  1. Go to Quote Requests > Settings > Widgets.

  2. Click Customize widgets, then Customize widgets again in the dialog. Your theme editor opens on the Quote Requests app embed.

  3. Change the settings on the right, then click Save.

Use your own button

Custom mode attaches the quote popup to a button you already have, for example a Request a quote button in your cart. The product page button and floating badge are not shown in this mode.

  1. Set Widget Mode to Custom.

  2. Enter the Custom selector: the CSS class or id of your button, for example .my-quote-btn. Your theme developer can tell you this.

  3. Click Save.

When a customer clicks your button, the popup opens with their cart already added. Only items that match Product selection are included. If nothing in the cart can be quoted, your button is hidden.

Custom scripts

Under Custom scripts on the Widgets tab you can add JavaScript that runs with the popup. For developers.
