Customer emails now come from your own sender

Quote emails, quote request confirmations and PIN emails are sent only from a sender you have connected. The shared [email protected] address is now reserved for staff notifications.
If your store has no primary sender, customer emails are held until you connect one. Go to Email notifications > Email providers, add a sender and make it primary.
Protected quotes, private attachments and widget controls

Two ways to control who sees what on a quote, plus more control over the storefront widget.
Protected quotes: lock any quote with a PIN. Turn on Protect quote on the quote page and click Generate PIN, or set a store wide default under Settings > Protected quotes. Customers enter the PIN to open the quote and can click Resend PIN to get it by email. Customers who open the quote from the View quote button in your email skip the PIN.
Private attachments: files on a quote are now stored privately. Set each attachment to Public to show it on the quote link, or Private to keep it for your team. Attachments are available on plans that include them.
Badge text: change the text on the floating quote badge from the theme app embed. It defaults to Quote.
Exclude a product: tag a product
sq-excludedand the quote button no longer appears on it.Custom mode: the quote button now stays attached when a theme re-renders the cart, and add to cart buttons from product option apps are hidden with the rest.
Phone numbers: the address phone now shows on the quote page and PDF, and company and phone from a quote request carry into the draft order address.
Automations timing, analytics, translations and B2B companies

A large round of updates across the app.
Automations: add a Wait for step in minutes, hours or days before the next action. New conditions on Status and on quotes that expire within a set time. Each automation now has an activity log showing every run. Stores on the free plan can preview the builder before upgrading.
Email templates: templates now come in two types, ShopQuotes for quotes you send and Quote request for confirmations, and you can create variations of each. New variables Customer last name and Time until expiry join the Add variable menu. Staff notifications have their own settings with a recipient list.
Analytics: a redesigned page with an overview, a quote request funnel, a ShopQuote funnel, a breakdown by source (Quote request, Created in app, Draft order import), trend charts for ShopQuotes created, revenue, conversion rate, average order value and views, and a pipeline by status. Compare ranges from the last 7 days to all time.
Translations: translate the storefront widget and the quote page into every language your store sells in, under Translations.
B2B companies: when a customer belongs to companies, the customer picker lets you choose the company and location, or Personal order. The company shows on the quote and its location addresses fill shipping and billing.
Plain PDF: zero cost shipping shows as FREE, and the internal note prints at the bottom.
Microsoft senders: your From name is now used on emails sent through Microsoft 365. Personal Outlook accounts always use the account name, so the field is disabled for them.
Email notifications, Automations and a new dashboard

The biggest month of updates so far. Three new areas of the app and a refreshed home.
Email notifications: send quote emails from your own address. Sign in with Google or Microsoft, or connect Resend, SendGrid or SMTP. One sender is your primary sender. Email branding adds your logo, colours and footer to every email. Email templates let you edit the copy. Send test email checks it all, up to 5 tests a day. Available on paid plans.
Automations: run actions when things happen. Pick a trigger such as A customer requests a quote or A ShopQuote is viewed, add conditions that match all or any, and chain actions like Create the ShopQuote from the request, Send an email to the customer, Apply a discount, Set / extend the expiration and Tag the customer in Shopify. Available on paid plans.
Pickup and local delivery: Shipping and delivery options on a quote now include Pickup in store and Local delivery alongside shipping rates and custom shipping.
Dashboard: a new home with a setup guide, analytics at a glance, a check that the app embed is enabled, and help links.
Billing: a redesigned Billing page with your current plan, usage and a clearer plan comparison.
Integrations: Zapier now lives under Integrations. In-app chat moved to Intercom.
Quote requests: Requested Quotes is now Quote Requests, with a rebuilt table. The storefront widget gained a Widget Mode: Default for the badge and product page button, or Custom to attach the quote popup to any button on your theme with a CSS selector.
Settings: ShopQuotes settings are consolidated into one tabbed page, with quote request and email settings on their own pages.
Saved views and a faster app

Saved views: save a filter combination on the ShopQuotes and Quote Requests tables as its own tab, then edit or rename it later.
Template editor: hover over the preview to highlight a widget and click to select it. Insert widgets inline where you want them. The editor now lives under Settings > Editor, with a page width setting and a cleaner HTML editor.
Speed: the app loads noticeably faster, and installing from the Shopify App Store is now a single step.
Duplicate quotes and PDF settings

Duplicate ShopQuote: copy an existing quote, products and all, and edit the copy.
PDF settings: choose a Layout type for downloads. Styled follows your ShopQuote template. Plain is a simplified invoice style layout with its own heading and logo options. Preview updates as you change settings.
Expiry: a quote you keep editing close to its expiry time no longer expires mid edit.
Company name: shows on the quote detail and preview for B2B customers.
Billing address: falls back to the shipping address when Shopify has no billing address, matching the Shopify admin.
Request a Quote Is Live! 🎉 And More!

It's been a while since our last announcement, but rest assured, we've been busy rolling out updates and improvements. We're excited to announce the roll out of our Request a Quote feature, which allows merchants to add a quote request to the storefront.
Customers can easily build quotes on your storefront and submit the quote for approval. Once approved, a ShopQuote will be generated, where further edits can be made. Easily customize storefront, communication and other important settings all within the app!
In the background, we've been working through other important updates, including:
Zapier Integration: for those on a paid plan, you now have access to our Zapier Integration. This allows you to automate tasks after a ShopQuote is created. Find more information on this integration in Settings.
File Attachments: easily attach files that are displayed on your quote.
A new Image Widget: easily add images to your ShopQuotes with our new image widget.
Expiration Widget improvements: you can now make further customizations to the Expiration Widget, including the ability to show the expiration date instead of the countdown timer.

Create, Edit & Manage Quotes Directly in ShopQuotes 🗒️ 🎉

Introducing our largest update ever released! You can now create, edit and manage quotes directly in the ShopQuotes app without needing to first create a draft order! No more jumping between screens. Add and reorder products, add line item discounts, order discounts, shipping, customers, notes, tags and more!
For those who wish to continue creating draft orders in Shopify, don't worry, we've got you covered. Easily import a draft order with a single click.
Additionally, we've greatly improved the quote list view to make navigating between, managing and sharing quotes even easier.
We're continuing to make improvements to the ShopQuotes app in an effort to create the ultimate sales tool available on the Shopify App Store. Stay tuned for more updates coming very soon!
Major Update Releasing Soon!

MAJOR UPDATE: Multiple Quote Templates 🎨 & More

We're excited to announce our latest update! You are now able to create and utilize multiple quote templates.
Create templates specifically for customer segments, product categories, limited time sales and more! The choice is yours. Simply create the template you desire and assign them at the quote level.
This update allows for more flexibility to show what you want, when you want. To add a template, simply navigate to Settings > Template Editor and click "Create template" to get started.
Additionally, we've added a few new settings in the Editor:
Adjust the width of your template under Global Settings > Edit theme > Styling > Page Width
Edit the Quote Title within the Order Summary under Order Summary > Quote Title
Edit the Checkout button text under Order Summary > Checkout Button label
Service Degradation Notice

Advanced Filters 🔍 🎉

We are excited to announce our release of advanced filtering of the ShopQuotes list!
With this release, you may now filter your ShopQuotes by the following attributes:
Draft order value
Tags (from the draft order)
Activity status
Creation date
Last activity date
Completion date (if completed)
These allow you to filter your ShopQuotes based on attributes which allow you to take appropriate action when necessary. For example, you may want to see ShopQuotes that have not completed, but where your customer has clicked the checkout button so that you can follow up.
We're excited to see what this allows you to do! Please let us know if you have any requests for additional filters. We welcome your feedback!
Notes Are Live!

ShopQuotes now allow you to attach Notes to draft orders and display the notes on your ShopQuote!
To add a Note, simply click ADD NOTE when creating a ShopQuote, or when editing an existing one. You can adjust the look and feel of your Notes section in Settings. We will be adding more functionality in the months to come.
Currently ShopQuote Notes do not sync with Shopify, so if you have draft order notes added in Shopify, you'll need to copy them over to the app. It's important to also note that ShopQuote Notes attach to draft orders, so if you have a draft order across multiple ShopQuotes, updating the Notes for that draft order will affect the other.
Order Summary Updates: Line Item Properties & Product Links

We've implemented a small, but important, update to our Order Summary section in the Template Editor. Our app now supports displaying line item properties that mirror those shown at checkout. Additionally, you can now make products listed on your quote clickable so that your customers can view the products in a new tab.
You Can Now Share ShopQuotes via Email ✉️ 🎉

We're excited to announce our latest update! You can now notify and share a link to your ShopQuote with your customers via email without leaving the app.
The email layout mirrors your template layout so that your brand remains consistent throughout the sales process. You can preview each email and edit/add a personal note before sending to your customer.
Email sending is available to users on paid plans. To begin using this feature, navigate to Settings > Domains & Emails to add your email, set up DNS verification and start sending!
